This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional or experienced lecturer to inspire and develop the next generation of construction professionals. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching to learners across a range of construction programmes, helping them develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and employability behaviours needed for success in the industry. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective teaching across construction-related programmes. Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and assessments. Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback. Support learners to achieve their qualifications and career aspirations. Maintain accurate records in line with college policies and awarding body requirements. Promote positive learner behaviour and engagement. Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within practical workshop environments. Essential Requirements Relevant qualification in Construction or a related discipline. Significant industry experience within the construction sector. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning. Ability to motivate and support learners of varying abilities. Desirable Requirements Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent). Previous teaching or training experience in further education or industry.
